With a wonderful contract of the past and present, this is an excellent property ideally located for visiting the Cotswolds. An additional plus is that its two for the price of one: as a guest at Noel Arms you can enjoy the facilities of its sister hotel the Cotswold House with its award winning Restaurant, contemporary bar and beautiful townhouse gardens.
The 26 en suite rooms are medium in size, and in keeping with the distinctive character of the hotel are traditionally decorated. They are all are kept in very good condition and the 4 Poster rooms with seventeenth-century carved beds are fabulous. The bathrooms are also medium in size, in good condition and most come with bath and shower.
You can either absorb the atmosphere of the historic Dovers Bar (named after Dovers Hill, the site of the famous Cotswold Olympicks) with its cosy fire, bar menu and tasty local ales, or dine in the elegant Restaurant, with a menu that specialises in British and Continental dishes, homemade wherever possible and sourced from producers and superb produce exclusive to the Cotswolds.
The lobby is small in size and is decorated in a traditional style. Around the hotel, many reminders of the past can be found, such as fine antique furniture, including a grandfather clock, swords and shields.
