Centrally located on Princes street in the centre of Edinburgh. It is of traditional style and is one of the most distinguished of Edinburghs principal buildings. It was originally built in 1903 as part of the old Caledonian Railway Station. It is well furbished throughout having undergone extensive refurbishment and renovation. The reception is very large and elegant. All of the bedrooms are of varying shapes and sizes and of differing styles of decor. From some rooms there are views over Princes street gardens and towards Edinburgh Castle.
